After all of the research i came up with, my concept was to create a jockey uniform. This represents me in a form of using tiger print cloth in the display. the bow is to show the cuteness that is in me an also the fashion statement. Being that i wanted to give the effect that it was on display i use plywood to go back with the earth tone feel perspect to show that it is glass an that i would b transparent all around. Unfortunately the top glass sink in due to the fact it was to small in perimeter and also the hot glue would not stick on to it because it is a little wobble. That was the only difficult i had due is the making of the box and the cutting of the prespect. In my opinion i think i did a good in getting my point across an the fashion sense of it. Also i choose those colors because i like a lot of natural, earth tone and tiger print colors, those are my absolutelyyyy favorite and if i had a choice i would make all of my clothes in that print...

Inspiration from the Garrison
All of the pictures that you are seeing right now are my inspiration for my piece at the garrison. The first thing that caught my eye when i visited the garrison was this symbol onto of the cannon. To me what i found interesting about it that i know that i had to symbolize something like a badge or a crest for some type of army, government etc. Also the fact that it has this type of texture and pacific type to it also caught my eye because i know that when u see a symbol with fancy writing such as this it would immediately catches someone's eye thinking it is some type of new adventure to be discover.
Another thing that also caught my eye are the shirt symbols on the horse's stable. When i saw that the first thing that came to my mine was ownership and how that person brand their horse with their jockey uniform shirt that was made out of wood. i started to think why out of the whole stable that these were the only two stables that had their shirt on it? Did they owners like them that much that they wanted the world to know that next time their is a race to watch of for the horse an jockey that is wearing that uniform? hmmm....
An last of all the horse reigns which also caught my attention because it was the same color of the uniform which i find interesting because it shows that they have ownership and again shows who it belongs an for who to watch out for.

i loveeeeee gossip girl, due to the fact on on how it draws in their audience with all of this gossip, which kinds of remind me of bajans and also women and girls on the whole which just love to hear a piece of good juicy gossip. Also what i find about the show is that is very corrupt, when i say that i mean one minute two people are together, then they cheat in one another with their best friends, then they backstab one another an it just goes on which i kind of like it makes u think an wonder to urslef what would do if you were in that person's position but i think that that is maybe the effect the producer wanted to give the public so they can keep the show interesting and also keeping you on your pees and toes.
the reason for not blogging
ok, soo as we both know i haven't blog for the past three weeks due to the fact that i had a blogger's block and also due to some assignments. they are somethings i would like to blog about today due to the fact that i wanted to but didn't know how what to say. one of them i s called the book art project. this assignment was given to my class like three weeks ago, an only up too third week i was able on how to come up with a concept on what i wanted to do are start. what really amazed me was the fact on how artist not only did this project but also the technique, the craftsmanship and that it is all done out of paper like with!!! lol

2nd Assignment
when i was watching art 21last week in class, there was a particular artist i was interesting in his name is Mark Bradford. Mark gain a lot of inspiration from his mother salon as a young child, in one of his pieces he use old banner signs and prices from the salon to create his big piece of paper showing u all of the different signs with each one representing something different in a room with mirrors on one side an the banners on the next. Also he did two films in one room, one is showing a political view due to the fact that they are celebrating an event an the police is their and the other film has muslims and there family in a big market celebrating with their families, with no reason to be protected by the police.
what i like about his art work is the fact that he try something new with out known how it would work an how it would affect people being that it is something about his childhood, and that this would be something more interative with others. The use of media was paint, flyers, glue and a bigggg wall... loll, the use of colors is another aspect of it because it shows the feeling about it.

The Hunting of the Snark
The hunting of the snark is a poem written by Lewis Carroll in 1874. At the age of 42 he thought up of this poem being that it would be a humour the impossible voyage of an inconceivable creature. So basically the plot of the poem is that after crossing the sea guided by the Bellman's map of the ocean, a blank sheet of paper, the hunting party arrive in a strange land. The Baker recalls that his uncle once warned him that, thought catching Snarks is all well and good, you must be careful; for, if your Snark is a Boojum, then you will softly and suddenly vanish away, and never be met with again. With this in mind, they split up to hunt. Along the way, the Butcher and Beaver, previously mutually wary for the Butcher's speciality in preparing beavers, become fast friends, the Barrister falls asleep and dreams of a court trial defended by the Snark, and the Banker loses his sanity after being attacked by a furious Bandersnatch. At the end, the Baker calls out that he has found a Snark; but when the others arrive he has mysteriously disappeared. 'For the Snark was a Boojum, you see'.
well i couldn't find the actual poem so i just did a little research on it and basically this is what i found, and i will try to see if i can find some more research on the poem, and blog about it by Wednesday.

I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best.
Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo
ok there is two things i official hate to do drawing portraits and art history -__-...loool, but even though i hate those things some what of it is very interesting especially when it comes to the expressionism side of it. For example i like the approach that Frida has to her work inturns of her expressive backgrounds with the monkeys and also Pual Cezanne self portraits. The way how he applies his paint and brushstrokes are quite interesting along with the tones, pastel colors and join from light to darks.
These are masquerades mask, often use in a event called masquerade parties are mardi gras. Basically people use them to hide their identity from other people (whether it covers only the eyes are the entire face) due to the fact that the want to have excitement without the person knowing who they are... So this masks are my inspiration for my next pieces of the project and also the idea behind it. well i think the choice of materials is what makes this more fun, the different textures and composition on how each face has a different expression an also tones and values and the fact of it the color schemes that go back with the concept behind it with it is suppose to be scary, sexy are just a simply piece of a costume

when i happen to but up on this on the internet my mind was like literally wtf .... i swear it was actually the building of itself not a painting. But want give it way that is a painting was the fact that it was a temple are some sort of art history museum and on the side is like a cafe. Again the colors go back well with the direction of sunlight, the side and cracks in the building, and the most realistic part of the painting is the human that perspective on how he/ she is looking in the building makes you as the viewer that it is a real person when really that is part of the painting.... that is just sick
This building interest me and also affect me in a lot of ways. One of these ways is the architecture, i happen to think it is the most spontaneous pieces of art i have ever seen in my life( an literally i have gotten the chance to see it with my own eyes on my way to disney). I mean the layout, the colors, the structure and the plans on how to do the sigh and still designing on how to get the old and demolish look and effects on the entire building. The only problem is that i never got to see the inside :( , but i believe that on the inside just has to as beautiful on the inside with its structure.

Interesting Artwork
I don't really know who did theses but i happen to think that these are awesome!! :D these paintings are drawings took 3d art to a whole other dimension i mean the colors look like he use chalk, the plot of the kind of image an effect he/ she wanted to portray is just wicked( in a good way lol) and the best part of it is the perspective. That part of it just makes everything look so real and makes you feel that it is actually happen.

artistic views
Oliver Herring is a very unique artist. There are many ways to create an idea and create it to a visual art piece. Oliver Herring creates his in a way that makes people want to know more are be apart of his creation, He express it through video, styrofoam photo sculptures.
In Oliver's biography he talks about how he uses videos to recreate dreams that he had and the type of colors an the movement of people in the dreams that he had. Also he doesn't really care about the medium that he uses as longs as it express the feeling he is join for.
My all time favorite piece of his work is the spitting of the food dye and the effect it creates at the end an the colours and the sculptures out of styrofoam. The most famous one is ''Gloria'' (which is the one with the woman leaning on the wall) but he also has some other ones that interest me. Usually these things don't capture my eye but is because of the technique and the outcome of it.
